Industry: Shimano Trickle Down - New 105 R7000 Group
Shimano's usual development cycle has brought us the unveiled new Shimano 105 R7000 Group. We see many of the aesthetic changes we saw in the Dura Ace 9100 and Ultegra 8000 groups like the Shadow Rear Derailleur and oversized Crank arms. As Road Cycling continues to move toward disc brakes we see new flat mount 105 specific disc brakes. Although I haven't converted to the disc trend, I can appreciate the continued move to wider range cassettes which make sense for the every day rider like myself. Now with 11-34 that is compatible with 10 speed wheels!
If you have been wanting the new Ultegra group but can't fork out the dough, then be on the watch for these groups to hit stores later this year or early next year.
